Petition to keep Newcastle transport in pubic hands
A petition to the Speaker and Members of the NSW Legislative Assembly asking them to help reverse the NSW Government’s decision to privatise Newcastle’s public transport services is currently doing the rounds.
All members are encouraged to print off copies of the petition and get as many people as possible to sign it.
The privatisation of our services in Newcastle would mean that profits are being put ahead of people, and it could result in reduced services, increased fares and job losses.
