Stuck in the doors? Separated from your kids? Since the Sydney Metro first started running, passengers have reported a number of incidents on its trains.
Will you help us campaign for safety improvements on our trains by telling us about your Metro scare?
The trains are not just driverless – they don’t have train guards on board either, which means there’s no one around to properly respond to potential safety hazards.
The NSW Government is planning on expanding the Metro across Sydney, including ripping up the Bankstown line to convert it to a Metro line. The Metro system is bad enough, but concerningly, the government is also bringing in a New InterCity Fleet with a deliberate design flaw that means trains guards can’t properly protect passengers.
Our campaign is telling the NSW Government that the Metro is broken and that trains need staff onboard to do the important job of keeping passengers safe. But we need your help.
The government bureaucracy is working hard to make sure accidents on the Metro don’t make the news. But we deserve to know what happens on the Metro, especially when our government is pouring billions into its expansion.
If you experience or witness any incidents on the Metro, we want to know – and so do Sydneysiders.
Use this form to tell us about your Metro experience. With your stories, we can show the NSW Government what they risk when they opt for automation.
