DESCRIPTION:Update: due to the current health situation\, we’ve had to postpone the Brookvale rally against bus privatisation which was planned for this weekend. Community and worker safety is always our priority. A huge thank you to all the supporters who had planned to come along. Make sure you’re signed up to www.ourtransport.org.au so we can keep you updated on future actions (which will likely be online in the immediate future at least)\, and in the meantime stay safe and look out for each other. \nGladys Berejiklian and the Liberals promised no more privatisation during the election. \nOn the 25th of October the Berejiklian Government broke that promise by announcing their plan to privatise all Sydney buses. \nA private company will need to turn a profit by squeezing money out of bus services. Every dollar they save will be at your expense\, instead of being put back into better services.\nThis means:\n? Bus routes will be cut\n? More services will be late\n? Travel times will increase\n? Safety will be compromised\n? Traffic congestion will get worse \nIt’s time to fight back. Join us on Saturday 21 March at 11:00am outside Brookvale Bus Depot on Pittwater Road\, Brookvale.
